An Italian sandwich pub in the Samariterkiez. Warm panini on bread baked in-house, salsiccia and porchetta from the grill, burgers, homemade fries and fried veg, with beer on tap, Guinness included. Open every day from noon until ten.

In Italy a paninoteca is where you go for a proper sandwich and a beer, not a quick bite. Paninoteca 28 brings that to Proskauer Straße: a small room with brick walls and a counter, a handful of tables under the red awning outside, and a kitchen that bakes its own bread for every panino.
Cold panini with Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella or vitello tonnato; warm ones with salsiccia, porchetta, Taleggio or a breaded pork schnitzel; two burgers, one of them vegan; and a fritti list of homemade fries, onion rings, calamari and chicken nuggets, each served with a house sauce. Dogs are welcome, inside and out.
One for you, one on us: beer 2 for 1 every Monday from 17:00 to 18:00, running until 14 December. The rest of the week: fritti always come with a sauce of your choice, and every panino can be turned into a menu with a side.

Great new place in the neighborhood! We got a couple of different panini with salsiccia and fish. The fries and their sauces were also great. Cool vegetarian and vegan options as well.
Riri · GoogleI had Salad Ottaviana and mix fried veggies. The fried mushroom is so good and juicy! I will absolutely come back for it, and the salsa piccante is very delicious as well.
Aslin · GoogleGreat Italian sandwiches paired with beer from tap and good music!
